With school starting next week, I’m trying to soak up every minute with my soon to be JK-er before he begins full time!

Parents have always told me how fast things pass by once you have children, and they’re right.

As an ECE, I like to prepare weeks before any major event – birthdays, holidays, and back to school shopping!

I’ve prepared a free printable to help you shop for this new chapter of your child’s life!

Back To School Help!

I remember when Joey started his first day of Preschool. There were lots of fears and tears.

Fast forward to almost three years later and here we are!

He is so excited, and although I’m a bit nervous once more, I can’t wait for him to start his new journey.

We have everything ready for school – including a new Pokemon Backpack from Walmart!

Back to School

Walmart had a huge selection of backpacks, especially for one of Joey’s favourite TV shows – Pokémon!

If you love the backpack, check the bottom of this blog to see similar items off of Walmart’s Website!

What To Buy??

If you’re thinking about a school supply list for your JK/SK aged children, here are some items you may want to consider for this school year!

Mom’s New Helper – The OmieBox!

We bought a new Lunch Box this year with a built-in thermos!

It is super easy for Joey to use! The thermos has a lid that is simple enough for Joseph to unscrew/screw back on to place.

It is perfect to hold his pastas, chicken nuggets, soup, hash browns, pizza bites, and so much more!

If there are days when hot lunches are not an option, you can simply remove the thermos section and add a sandwich, wrap, or anything at all!

There are also inserts available with the OmieBox to divide up snacks, fruits, and veggies.

What has also peaked Joey’s interest in his new lunchbox are these colourful silicone baking cups!

We plan on using them for fruit snacks, crackers, cheese, fruits and veggie bites, really anything!

If anything ever happens to anything included in the OmieBox, you can simply purchase the replacement pieces at any time.

If you need a lunch bag big enough to fit the OmieBox (and more of course – you’ll need to consider morning snacks as well), here is the link to our lunch bag!

I will also post our super cute lunch bag below!

We found it off of Amazon and it is perfect for holding the OmieBox, snacks, a water bottle, and Joey’s milk thermos!

Good Luck!

Good luck parents! I know it’s emotional, and I know this has been a difficult time for us and our children.

Hopefully this year brings happiness, fun, and great learning experiences for your children!

All my best,

TKM
