Since we’re still in a lockdown, Joey and I have been doing a ton of science experiments!

We have been learning about new words and scientific reactions.

This is definitely one of his new favourite experiments!

If you have some cardboard lying around the house, this is a great project!

This salt experiment introduces your children to new terms, colours, textures, etc!

The best part – this is a great activity to bring outdoors too!

Let’s Get To It!

Here’s what you’ll need!

  • Cardboard
  • White Glue
  • Salt
  • Cups
  • Food Colouring
  • Droppers (link to Amazon down below!)

-> Personalize a piece of cardboard with your child’s name in glue.

-> Sprinkle salt on each letter and allow to dry!

-> Add food colouring to cups of water.

-> Add the droppers in each cup.

And that’s all for today’s salt experiment!

The possibilities are endless – make glue shapes instead of their names.

Try butterflies, hearts, or let your children design their own special experiment!
